  • Epidemiology of cardiovascular disease, obesity and their interrelationship, including metabolic factors such as adipocytokines, lipoproteins and their subclasses

  • Role of subclinical atherosclerosis, particularly arterial stiffness, in cardiovascular disease and aging

  • Women's Health

  • Advanced analytic methods and study design, particularly longitudinal and case-cohort analysis
